Believes Chattanooga to be ideal launching point out of the South East
Marietta, Georgia; November 10, 2004 - The first licensee of wholesale
building supply outlets, Reformed Products, announced earlier today that they are launching
a major initiative to expand throughout the nation. Reformed Products currently has a strong
foothold in the Southeast with 23 locations in five of the southern states.
Danny McMahon, CEO and founder of Independent Wholesale Buyer's Group (IWBG), the corporate
entity behind the Reformed Products stores, said that they are looking for one or two
"entrepreneurial minded individuals" to open a store on the east and west side of Chattanooga.
"We believe Chattanooga to be our best stepping stone toward a stronger hold in the Tennessee
market and key to breaking out of the Southeast," said McMahon. "We want to expand in such a
way that we can grow our support infrastructure simultaneously with new locations, allowing
us to better support our store owner's and thus our customers."
Reformed Products is the only chain of wholesale building supply outlets where each store
is individually owned and operated. "The corporate office supplies training, branding
support, and inventory swapping services, but each owner is almost totally free to operate a
store the way he or she sees fit," says Beau Vineyard, the first Reformed Products store owner.
"It's much more flexible than any franchise agreements I've looked into."
Collectively, the Reformed Products stores sell over $30 Million of vinyl siding, windows
and accessories each year, in an industry that is projected to increase to almost $10 Billion
in sales by the year 2007, according to a report published by Global Information, Inc.
"We believe there is a lot of room for us to grow in this market," stated McMahon.
